Working side by side with other brilliant and talented engineers in a sophisticated Agile development environment, you will collaboratively participate in development efforts for Guidewire’s robust and complex suite of web-based Java products. Are you an experienced software engineer who enjoys thinking through and solving complex and difficult technical problems by collaborating with an impressive team of peers with a common goal of building and delivering high quality, large scale enterprise software products? Experience Desired: * Minimum 5+ years of experience with enterprise programming in Java/J2EE, Enterprise Applications, Web Services, OOD, OOA, Oracle, SQL Server * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any type) or a related field * Excellent hands-on design, coding, implementation and communication skills * Strong experience and knowledge using Web Services, WSDL, SOAP * In-depth knowledge of Unix, Windows, JVM, web and application servers * Strong knowledge of J2EE (EJB, Servlets, JSP, XML, JDBC, JMS) * Strong knowledge of Design Patterns * Experience with performance tuning, caching, clustering and related concepts is preferred * Experience with Spring, Hibernate would be a bonus * Highly transactional enterprise software experience preferred. |
